I might have chosen something more special, but didn't have too much time this weekend. Today it's full moon, so I thought this may be a good subject.
... although I more like when it looks like this:
Most people don't know - I'm sure you do - but for taking good moon photos, you don't necessarily need tripod and definitely not long exposure. At ISO 100, you should take f8 and 1/250 sec, basically your subject is being lit by the sun... Actually, if you are shooting longer than 1/60 sec, you'll get motion blur.

Niceeeee! ;-) I was thinking about that as well as it was nicely visible also in Prague, but I hadn't enough time. Will try to shoot it as well in the future. I supose you used long lens...
VálaszTörlésI used my 70-300, which is not the highest quality (kit lens from F65). As the quality is really getting worse if it is closer to 300 mm, I normally don't use it above 200. So these were shot at 200 mm.
VálaszTörlésgood picture, I never had such nice shot.Second has definitely better atmosphere.
VálaszTörlésWow, I would not expect that you can get such a picture at 200mm, that's surprise! I will have to try it sometime.
VálaszTörlésOf course it is 300 mm equivalent on my D70s, but these days very few of us can use full frame digital cameras -:))
VálaszTörlésI don't know what equipment you use, but with Marek's EOS 30D (30% better resolution than my body) and 70-200 f4 (100 times better quality), significantly better result can be achieved.
