14 - Directions

This week I was thinking a lot, what could I do with directions. My first idea was to choose a traffic junction, where there are several roads joining and take a night shot with the red and white stripes from and to the different directions. There were several reasons I couldn't make it, first of all I couldn't think of a place to climb up for a proper "helicopter view", secondly I was short of time.

My second idea was to shoot a picture at the Railway History Museum, where there are interesting tracks. Unfortunately I didn't have time to go there during the weekend, although the weather was beautiful.

Therefore I started to look for a suitable picture amongst my old slides (I was there several times with my kids in the mentioned Railway History Museum). I found one, scanned it and here it is:

It is not the best, but there are directions...

13 - Design through cropping - manmade

This week I had a clear idea what I wanted to depict, so I went to the riverbank to take the picture. I was walking for an hour but didn't find what I wanted. Of course, I was taking other shots, but those were not really fitting to this weeks theme. The sun has already faded away and my "time was over" when I caught site of this anchor. Hope you like the cropping.

I shot this couple of years ago in a forest and is one of my favourite in this kind, fits very well the theme of this week. I promise that next week I'll come with a newly created one, but this week I had no time at all. Looking forward to read your comments.
